Since 1935 the Seminary of Bedonia has had in custody an interesting collection of about 80 historical paintings, 34 of which, the most important, are exhibited in the “Quadreria Parmigiani”.
Primarily these canvases come from two donations: that of Don Vittorio Parmigiani, and that of the bishop Ersilio Menzani, that is part of the collection of paintings belonging to the the Bolognini family from Bologna.
We wish to point out “Christ Falling while carrying the Cross”, attributed to Ludovico Carracci, (photo N°4) “Christ Appearing to his Mother after the Resurrection” by Andrea Donducci and “St. Frances receiving the Stigmate” by Bartolomeo Passerotti.(photo N°2)
In time, many more donations were added to the collections belonging to the Sanctuary and the Seminary.
