An exhibition of Public Devotion

An exhibition of Public Devotion

This is a collection of about 15.000 images, commonly known as Santini, that date from the XVIIth century onwards. Some, like the famous “canivets”, are very rare. Next to the Archive is a permanent exhibition of seven display cases full of objects related to devotion ( books, pictures, miniatures, statues, xylographs, copperplate engravings, lithographs, objects used for the main sacraments, those in common use, Rosaries…).
On six boards you can learn about the “Story of the Santino” from the XVII century onwards.
Among the objects received there is a cross made from melted steel that comes from the Twin Towers of New York after the explosion.
